TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms and Condition
SECTION A
1. Provisional Driving Licence
All Trainees must be in possession of a signed provisional driving licence at the beginning of their training.
On your first lesson, we will start with sorting out the paperwork: provisional licence check, eyesight check, read and sign business terms and conditions. We will then discuss your training goals before we start covering the basic skills to get you on your way.
2. Cancellations
At least 36 hours’ notice must be given by you if there is a need to cancel or reschedule a lesson booking. Failure to give such notice will result in the lesson fee being charged, a loss of deposit or of hours reserved for the test.
Cancellation or rescheduling must be requested through the Total Drive app at least 36 hours before the lesson. If you experience any difficulty using the app, please email us at info@enroutedriving.co.uk. Make sure to include your name, lesson date and time, and your instructor’s name in the email. (See also "7. Block Booking" and "11. Refund.")
3. Official Driving Test
Please be aware that the test vehicle will be withheld for the driving test if, in the instructor’s opinion, the trainee is not at test standards.
4. Bookings
Bookings are made on the undertaking that En Route Driving is not responsible for the postponement of training due to adverse weather, mechanical failure of the vehicle, absence of staff or any other cause. En Route driving cannot be held responsible for driving tests being postponed by the driving standards agency.

6.1. En Route Pre-Paid Booking Agreement
Money for pre-bookings will be used to pay your instructor on a lesson by lesson basis, once each lesson has been delivered to you.
If there’s a problem with your lesson, you must let us know within 2 hours after it finishes. Payments to the instructor are sent after this time, so it’s important to contact us quickly. Please email us at info@enroutedriving.co.uk with your name, lesson date and time, and your instructor’s name. If we don’t hear from you, the instructor will automatically be paid for the lesson.
7. Block Booking Discount
To qualify for a block booking discount:
- You must be registered for multiple lessons per week (minimum of 2).
- Purchase the required credits in advance using our bundle options:
- 4-Hour Bundle: Covers 2 x 2-hour lessons
- 8-Hour Bundle: Covers 4 x 2-hour lessons.
If you complete the multiple lessons booked per week, the discount applied will carry forward to your next purchase.
To avail the discount, the pupil must use a unique discount code provided by their driving instructor or school at checkout, but only if they have two or more lessons in their shopping cart.
The agreement is that the pupil should only use the discount code at checkout when they have 2 or more lessons in their cart. Using the code for a single lesson per week will be considered a breach of trust, resulting in the cancellation of the lesson, closure of the pupil's account, and the application of a refund fee if applicable.
If a pupil books more than one lesson per week and applies the discount code, but later cancels any lesson, resulting in only one lesson remaining, they will be charged the full amount for that lesson.
7.1 Validity and Expiry of Block Booking Vouchers:
We no longer issue block booking vouchers. However, for any existing block booking vouchers that were purchased, the following terms apply:
Block booking vouchers are valid for 1 month from the date of purchase. Once the first lesson has commenced, the learner has a further 5 weeks to complete each block of hours. Failure to complete the lessons within this time frame will result in the loss of the discount.
If you encounter any difficulties in booking lessons with your instructor, you must notify us in writing at least 1 week before your voucher expires to avoid disappointment. Please email us at info@enfroutedriving.co.uk.
7.2 Refunds and Credit Notes:
Block bookings are non-refundable unless zero hours have been used. If you are unable to complete or continue your course, or if you are not fully satisfied with a recent driving lesson, please inform us via email at info@enroutedriving.co.uk, stating the reasons why. We will review your email and contact you promptly.
A credit note can be issued for your remaining lessons, which can be used with another available driving instructor. The credit note expires 1 month from the date of issue.
A full refund (less cancellation charges) for block booking will only be issued if zero hours have been used, and you have made the payment directly to ERD Ltd through bank transfer or debit card. To request a refund, you should contact us in writing within 30 days of the purchase date.
8. Assessment Lesson
Following an assessment, if required, your driving Instructors will give you an estimate of the amount of hours they believe you will require to prepare for the driving test. Should more hours be needed for you to be at test standard, you will be advised. See 3.Official Driving Test above.

- There is a 2% cancellation charge for processed orders, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds can take up to 14 days to appear in your bank account.
11.1. Lessons bought on offer:
For lessons bought on offer, example block booking, where you have already used up some of the hours, you will only receive a partial refund of the remaining balance. To calculate the partial refund due, you will be charged the full price of the lesson/s you have taken before any deduction is made.

We are committed to providing you with quality driving lessons and ensuring that you are prepared for your test day. Thank you for your understanding.
IMPORTANT:
7. Course Duration and Additional Tuition: All courses are booked based on average learning capabilities derived from past client experiences and are intended as a rough guide only. No guarantees can be implied by any advisor or instructor. You should be prepared for extra tuition if it is deemed necessary before you are allowed to safely attend the driving test.
Please note that the test vehicle may be withheld for the driving test if, in the instructor's opinion, the trainee is not yet at test standards.
